i see this work as i'm bringing some of those fields into early modern studies. Im, the first is phyllis racken, whose book stages of history in 19 90 has been the seminal work on the history plays since its publication. Em, and those interests have to do with death and with replica production. M, so as i think about history as a form of replica production. That opens up a whole range of disciplines and periods and thinkers that i am able to set early modern studies in conversation with.
