The Osmotic Influence of Hypernatremia in Patients With ODS

In this cohort, though, three of the patients ended up progressing to hypernatremia. Three of those patients ended up getting ODS. And so that ends and we did not anticipate that when we did the study design. It does look like there may have been an osmotic influence in this group that we consider because they didn't correct faster than that for their hypoatremia. But after thehypoatremia, they still had an osmotics insult with going to hypernatremeia.
