The Dangers of Chat GPT in the Healthcare Industry
Australian medical association calls for stronger AI regulations after doctors use chat GPT to write medical notes. Australia's Peak Medical Association has called for strong rules and transparency around the use of artificial intelligence in the healthcare industry. Five hospitals in Perth's South Metropolitan Health Service were advised in May to stop using chat G PT to write medical records for patients. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported that in an email to staff, the services CEO Paul Fordon said there was no assurance of patient confidentiality using such systems.
