The Importance of Understanding Life

It's hard to think about an electron not having like a surface or, you know, an edge where it's no longer an electron. And this is connected to some of the other puzzles we talked about like, does the electron actually spin? We don't understand it, but yet at the same time, we're able to predict it and describe it with math. But that doesn't mean we understand it, right? That's what understanding is,. As far as I know, I don't know any deeper level of understanding.
