The Morning Mind Says, "Put Up Security"

Six minutes with the holy spirit. Proverbs chapter 11, verse 15: Whoever puts up security for a stranger will surely suffer harm. But he who hates striking hands in pledge is secure. When he says puts up security, what he means is our modern equivalent of co signing on a loan of some sort. So it's basically stepping into a situation where someone else is trying to get some sort of financial help through a loan,. and this person who has greater means steps in if they can't pay it off.
