If you can't see that there's anything particularly wrong, anything statistically wrong, then it's likely that what you're doing is just being unlucky rather than broken. There is an element to the returns of all securities where if they're going up, they tend to continue to go up and If they're going down, they tendto continue going down. Now, it is right to chase those trends for a certain period of time. It's not necessarily return chasing in the sense of investing in hot managers which may not and probably doesn't work.
