One of the great successes of the chilian a reforms was a private pension system. This present elect has vowed to undo it, and to re institute the pay as you go system that much of the rest of latin america has. The other part of the story is, i think, simply that chili's rapidly anging and progressing country over the past several decades. And so there was a sense of unfulfilled expectations.
