What Is Spiritualism?
Spiritualism is a philosophical doctrine that affirms the reality of the human mind. The spiritualist tradition, from the seventeenth century onwards, has opposed ha principle of freedom to the material world. New spiritualists are advancing an what's called a panpsychic position. And this new spiritualism doesn't rest content with opposing mind to matter, but it argues even more radically, that matter itself is already an expression of mind.
