The Importance of Cognitive Training in Baseball

This early in your career though, it was a little surprising to you that here you are rather new and able to impart wisdom. You're also dealing with players that had a level of vulnerability in that, hey, I never experienced this before. And when you start to feel your body change from there, you can actually start to doubt yourself. That's why so much of what I did was blending the training with like cognitive behavioral therapy and also making them feel like the Iron Men that they were.
