How to Detect Magic in a Room
The RAI requires a turn of concentration on an object. I would say that you could put your hand on the wall, but it would be like a 10 foot by 10 foot section of wall. If what I'm thinking is the case in this room, I suspect any section will do. Okay, but I'm going to put my hand on the fine stones of the fire pit. And I will detect magic and I have a three in six on that. Yeah, nope, just seems like plain old stone to you. Orang lame. Let's go home.
