What Is the Risk With All These Fantastic Stories?
There are so many fantastic and unvivid stories about things that happened in the camp. Many of the men who had been removed from their families, perhaps they had wives and children who were still in london. There's a great deal of talk in the camp n what do we doad if the isle of man is invaded? Are we going to try and break out of our camp and steal a boat and float into the sea? And in fact, t the scale of the stress is so much that a number of people do e do take their own lives,. More than 60 people die in interment before 19 forty three when the records appear to end.
