The Importance of Being the Firstborn

In the 10th plague when God goes through Egypt, he slays all the firstborn of the Egyptians. Christ is unique in that he in himself brings both of these together. When he rises from the dead, he becomes the firstborn from the dead as well. He's the one who cares for us, his brothers and his sisters by giving us the life that he won by his resurrection.
