Culture has built a mythology around the leader. We like that there might be this possibility of somebody being godlike, you knowt a demi god. It's part of everything we do to think of the person who's in the lead as heroic. And most of us want some degree of pique performance all the time. But if your goal is peque performance on going, then it doesn't apply. You need other people around you to take baton and lead alongside you.
