The Nullification Argument in the Civil War
In Jim Crow days, Jackass bull Connor types said all sorts of stuff about refusing to adhere to a court order. But since then, is this a thing that people are supposed to do anymore? Yeah, so this is nuts. And it's actually more nuts than your bull Connor example, or even the nullification arguments from some of the states pre-Civil War, or in the run up to the Civil War. At least in those cases, there was a constitutional argument. Think of how many nationwide injunctions Obama had against him relating specifically to actions of the executive bridge were at the district court level. Just chuck that right out the window.
