How to Crank Music in Your Garage
If I'm researching and reading, just kind of messing around or blogging, like I'll just listen to like soul music or garage rock. If I'm really trying to come up with ideas and really write something, I'll either put earplugs in. There's something about having complete silence that is really, you know, you can hear your blood pumping. But I also like music I can ignore. And then if I'm on deadline, if I'm doing something I hate that I know I have to finish, I will play the most meatheaded, like loud, like stuff I could possibly muster.
