The Euro Area Inflationary Trends
Spain's inflation rate came in at 1.7%, down from the point below 2%. Two-year yields edged up a bit, but they're still under the control of the ECB. I mean, this tells you about the patchwork of Europe; Spain really didn't have an exogenous shock on energy prices. But that's disinflation that could move to outright deflation in Spain in the coming months.
