You need something with the full weight of history written by somebody who's an expert in that space. And you're not going to get that in the Wall Street Journal this morning. I have gotten a lot out of a book called the short history of financial euphoria by John Kenneth Galbraith. NASA Nicholas Taleb against the gods by Peter Bernstein is really a story of risk of risk and how people evolved their understanding of risk and probability.
