How media narratives fuel violence and false allegations

 I don't know if it's DEI or what, but why doesn’t the U.S. Secret Service emphasize shooting ability all the time? It seemed like the old guard—the old breed in the 1960s—were pretty good about that.

My premise is this: They're in a unique situation in that they have a president that has now been the target of three attempted assassinations in which shots were fired one way or the other. We've never had that in the history of the country, argues Victor Davis Hanson on today’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.”

They also cover China’s Belt and Road leverage via loans and labor requirements, condemn repeated Secret Service breakdowns amid multiple Trump assassination attempts, praise Trump’s pushback against Nora O’Donnell, decry California’s soaring high-speed rail costs, and debate Navy procurement toward dispersed, drone-heavy platforms.
