The Meaning of Nabi in the Arabic Language

The word Nabi means nobility or a high place. It is also used as a landmark that people will give you directions based upon, oh that's something over there. As for the word Rasul which is Allah wasni or upon the structure of Fa'ul,. So Nabi is Fa'ul and Rasul is Fa'UL. And so from this Nabi would be the one who is informed and then informs others.
