Infe Spinatus Muscle Weakness Due to Super Spinatos Compression

A volley ball player complains of worsening right postro lateral shoulder pain and weakness for the past four weeks. She denies any injury to the shoulder. Her examination reveals five out of five muscle strength with shoulder elevation, abduction and internal ation. But she has weakness in external rotation with the elbow at the side. And gross inspection is remarkable for mild atrophy along the posteror scapula. So this clinical scenario is suggestive of infe spinatous muscle weakness due to super scapular nerve compression at the spinal glend.
