The Rise of the Far Right in Italy

Silvio burleskerny relied on pure kitsch to sell Forza italia to the voters this was the party's campaign song in 1994 with a video that segued between children and buggies. After 1989 German identity became much more premised on the sort of learning from and critique of the Nazi past. Many former communists reinvented themselves as quite staunch anti-communists as they turned into social democrats or in most cases liberals so many long-standing tropes of far-right memory culture began to become widely accepted across the political spectrum.
