The Importance of a Good Codebase

I'm chasing that ability to have a codebase that just sings, you know? And I'm close. I'm closer than I've ever been. The Alpine codebase, I feel so free and liberated in it,. It's like, I could whip up some feature like with the snap of my finger. That's what I'm chasing. So today is like, what are the things I can act? "It's got to get worse before it gets better"
