The Role of Psychedelics in Cultures All Over the World

There's been a period of prohibition against these substances. I think now we have an opportunity to try to scientifically understand them. We've seen decades of extreme alarmism that's divorced from the data, talking about how these substances are supposedly very dangerous. But there appears to be genuine promise for their use to treat certain mental disorders like mood and substance used disorders. These substances are not cures for mental disorders. They do have risks.
