The Fourteenth Amendment, Section 3: Foreign Enemies
I think that someone might challenge what you said earlier about the pertinent language of the fourteenth amendment. What it says is, people who, after having taken this oath, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the United States. And so he believes that would refer to foreign enemies, and not that you would simply be able to provide aid and comfort to insurrectionists. I don't think anyone challenges that.
