The Role of Ron DeSantis in the GOP Primary Field

The most effective Republican we've seen as of late to do a great job with effective hitbacks and throwing shade is Trump, sadly. And so I think it's a, it's really on the shoulders of people like Christie and people like pins to be able to fire directly and land the punches because if they don't land, then that does help Trump. The polling for Nancy referring to is the NBC poll that showed that 70% of GOP primary voters were ready to support Trump again in 2024. If those punches land on Trump, then this doesn't actually help DeSantis.
