The Role of the Media in an Anonymous Jury
CNN's John Sutter asks: How would an anonymous jury work in practical terms? He says most of the time where there are anonymous juries, it's when there is a lot of scrutiny by the public. The media will come in and say this jury shouldn't be anonymous, we have a right to access, he writes. "In the federal system, I think there will be very strong arguments for anonymous juries," Sutter adds.
