Shared Labor Socialism Is a Part of the Work Ethic
A shared labor socialist society as I see it would change the character of the necessary labor because necessary labor would be shared. Work has been transformed from something merely necessary into something that is an expression of human solidarity, he says. A post-work view of the work ethic is to say it's just on capitalist ideology and inducing people to consent to their own exploitation, argues Peter Kropotkin.
