Nottingham Forest fans still touch Brian Clough's statue for good luck on their way to the ground. The club was like, what on earth is going on here? And then the any rift between them was pretty dramatic. He retired from football in 1993 after they finished bottom of the inaugural Premier League and ended up taking over at Derby County that same year.
