Stocks - Trading in the Green on Friday
European and US stocks traded modestly, but leaning towards the green on Friday. Fears of a coming recession and persistently high interest rates resurfaced to damp investors' appetite for risk. The Dow Jones Industrial Average traded flat, while the S&P 500 gained by a quarter of a percent. Brent crude, the global benchmark for oil, gained a sharp 1.6% trading at $86.63 per barrel since yesterday.
