Is Shakespeare's Drama a Drama?
Historical dramas tend to flatten almost the historical truth, but also the commentary of the time. It's almost like we're presenting these things to an audience, but not giving them enough information or notes in order to make sense of that distinction. I think one of the things that's exciting is when people who make drama are in love with the worlds that they are making and in love with accuracy.
