The Unappreciated Part of the Russia-Ukraine Story

We're playing into the hands of Putin in terms of his attempt to get control of some of these eastern and urban areas by, well let me put it simply, his war machine is being funded by oil and gas. I think that's one of the unappreciated parts of this entire crazy Russia-Ukraine story. The people in Russia practically poorer today than they were 100 years ago. It's like we've not learned anything from the mistakes of the Obama era.
