Are You a Feminist?
As a graduate student, I accepted that it must all be true that our society was driven with racist and misogynistic hatreds. But then as soon as I started teaching, I could just see that it wasn't really... It wasn't true. And so it turned me off. That was when I started to be kind of a critic of feminism even while working within feminist frameworks. And then eventually I just gave up on it altogether.
