The Geopolitical Tensions Within the North Alliance

European private capital has fought very, very hard at home as well to make sure that it minimizes the impact of any of the return of the state in industrial policy or through climate policy. That is not a specific kind of US dimension. Europeans were much more relaxed about creating markets for Chinese solar manufacturing than they were about creating Markets for US solar or car manufacturing. And that has to do something with geopolitical tensions within what we think is the North Alliance rather than otherwise.
