What's the Curriculum for Comedy Writing?
If you were teaching a freshman semonar at harvard on comedy writing, what would the curriculum look like? Oh, great question. Well, p j o'rork, who was one of the big national ampon editors, said that if he taught right, i recei of dunces. So i would probably assign parodies of literature. It just sort of whatever you're studying in your other classes, parody that. I think mischief is just so important in comedy, really.
