The Need to Protect and Conserve Animals in the Middle Ages

In late mediaeval and early modern london, a red kites and ravens were very common on the streets. But even though people didn't like them, they weren't persecuted. I think people just left these ravens and redkites alone because everyone agreed that they were quite useful to have. They provided eko systems services, as we would say to day.
