The Importance of Being a Brother

When the Bible speaks of God as our father and Christ as our brother, there's a very significant because being a brother was not just. You know, oh, well that's my brother. There is a commitment there and a responsibility there you have. And so as our high priestly brother, he takes on even more responsibility in in the sacrifice of Christ and his atoning death. He becomes the one who sheds his own blood to cover for the bloodshed of someone else.
