The Future of Computing in the Cloud
I was blown away at the fact that it could just automatically determine what workloads to split out. I feel like the laptops of the new on-prem in some ways. In 2012, 2013, the maximum size of a EC2 machine at the time was 60.5 gigs of RAM. Now it is four terabytes. That's 400X change. But we're still using the same software and distributed paradigms from 10 years ago.
