In the mid 18 hundreds, when the industrial revolution was really raging in europe, there were a lot of people concerned about working conditions. The coot movement is directly connected to these folks in 18 forty four in england,. They're called the rochdale pioneers, and they came up with the seven co operative principles. Coops are one member, one vote. Coops keep all of the profit within the coop.
