The Influence of Chartism on the British Isles
The Chartists were pragmatists and that's why you find this balancing act between a constitutional approach to securing change. think possibly they could have those demands could have gone further than to demand the vote for women as well at that time. There was a good deal of chartered influence in America but America was not a colony by that point we can certainly say that chartism was an influence in Australia because of the transportees who carried their message.
