Orthobulots Podcast Review - DRUJ Injuries
Samir at all evaluated the outcome of ulnar-styloid fractures without DRUJ instability on patient rated outcomes after distal radius fracture opened reduction internal fixation. They concluded that in patients with a stable DRUJ afterdistal radius fracture ORIF, ulnar-Styloid fractures did not affect subjective outcomes. Why Saki at all reported on an active 54-year-old woman who sustained an extroarticular distalradius fracture with a concomitant ulnar- Styloid base fracture. The intraoperative presence of DRUJ unstable may merit the need for distal ulnar fixation.
