I grew up in a small, worse mining town where the drive was to get married as quickly as possible. I had this weird sort of family dynamic where my father, who is emphatically middle class would insist he's working class. My mother was emphatically working class with his issues. And so there were things like the joyous sex come out when I was about 12 or 13 and then Calvin Marshall produced a more joyous publication just after that. But yeah, so there was this revolution coming on which really helped me grow up.
