The DA's Opposition to the Release of the Report
The district attorney's position seems a little bit weird because they asked for the convening of this grand jury, knowing that all it can do is produce a report. So why convene a special grand jury if you don't want the report published in a timely fashion was kind of my first question. The second big piece of news, which we've already alluded to, is that the district attorney opposed the release of the report. This sounded a little strange to me when I first heard it, but then kind of was like, well, of course they do.
