There's a lot in mediaeval medical texts aboutof reproduction and how to get pregnent. They've got all sorts of theories about how you should have sex if you want to have a son or a daughter. And actually, they're surprisingly open to the idea that it might be the man who's the problem. People did use contraception. But i think what we can difficly say isit what it did happen, has always happened.
