Jane's Game Plan for Queenship

Jane was fast-tracked to queenship in many ways. She didn't have the long waiting game that Anne Berlin did. Her ambitious family are a massive part of it, particularly her brother. But I think there's also this kind of steely determination from Jane herself and as soon as she spies that opportunity, she's there. So what was Jane's game plan here? By playing hard to get and refusing Henry's advances without an offer of marriage, was she simply defending her well-renowned virtue and honour? Or was she singing from the same hymn sheet as Anne Berlin, keeping the king at arm's length to appeal to his hunting instinct?
