Colonel ah jones was killed in one of the most talked and raked over moments in recent british military history. Oni says he showed extraordinary courage, moral courage, perhaps more than physical courage at that point when he died. But i would still say he deserved his v c,. even more so if you put it in the context of, to some extent, a medal for the commanding officer is recognition, not tust of him but of his actions.
