Chileans are somewhat conservative in their views, but Chile also has the largest organic right weight in Latin America. The support for Pinochet Pinochetism is not ephemeral. It's concrete and it's integrated into the system. And you could say just to kind of put it into context, Chile only recently allowed divorce.
