The Importance of Confession

In 1 John, the text that Dio read, it says this: If we confess our sins, he Jesus is faithful and just. David was able to be bold in confession because a sense of forgiveness was so real to him. He could say, this is what I've done, this is why I did it,. And he knew that he would be met with forgiveness. So he's safe. The question for you? How can you know that when you confess your sin, there'll be safety and forgiveness?
