Once alcohol becomes something that you use to ease pain, cope with stress or relieve cravings, you can't go back to social drinking. Some people have a drink and move on with their lives, other people get drunk and then just keep doing it. So, as a sober person who's prone to blowing up my life, I don't have a choice there.
