How to Be a Successful Physicist
I got a PhD in 1973 and actually worked for seven years afterwards as a physicist doing research. So from 73 to 80, I was a postdoc in various places in University of Pennsylvania and then in Oxford,. And then I was an assistant professor at University of Colorado at Boulder. But my life was in academic life too in biology and we were always moving in different places. My son was born in England and I sort of threw the towel in. It was getting too hard to find a job where you wanted.
