Gene Editing Is a New Way to Treat Cancer
Unconventional cancer treatments are typically targeting fast-growing cells and it's not just the cancer cells that get cooled off which is why they can have some very nasty side effects. What I was looking at is in these cases so when all else fails one sort of extreme thing you can do is actually take immune cells and program them to attack cancers. It's a really appealing way to do it isn't it, to work with our immune system rather than try to smash it by using chemotherapy for example.
